Tightly woven Pertex nylon with capillary action acts as windproof shell over a moisture directional fibre pile lining
There were three main streams of development
1. a travellers towel - thin woven fabric that dried quickly, worked by drawing water off skin via the capillary action
2. sleeping bag, using the Double P system: Pertex & Pile
